The Cirrus Logic EDB9302A-Z

- from http://www.cirrus.com/en/pubs/proBulletin/EDB9302A-Z_PB.pdf

Avionics

The Cirrus Logic EDB9302 is used in the " Qwerk" robotics control system, that in turn is used in the Telepresence Robot Kit called " Terk" developed at Carnegie Mellon University and Charmed Labs of Austin, Tx. In the Qwerk system (see reference http://www.charmedlabs.com/index.php?option=com_content& task=view& id=29 ), use is made of the Cirrrus Logic EDB9302 unit running Red Hat Linux version 2.6 and a Xilinx Spartan 3E FPGA. The Telepresence Robot Kits have been developed by Associate Professor of Robotics Illah Nourbaksh and memebers of his Community Robotics, Education and Technology Empowerment (" CREATE" ) Lab.
