We now call the executable code "wam32.exe". This executable will run on a Personal Computer under Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP.

You are welcome to download the latest version 5 of our WaveMaker software from this web site. This software will run with your existing security key, as long as your key number is 71180 or above.

If you have downloaded the wavemaker.exe file, you will need to "run" this file to extarct the compressed files stored in this archive executable. A few points to note:

	make sure the directory (and any subdirectory) name in which the WaveMaker code is stored is no more than 8 characters long, and contains no spaces and no dots;
	make sure the directory is on the PATH;
	make sure you have set: SET WAMHOME=C:\WAM where for C:\WAM substitute the directory name where you have located the executable;
	if you need to edit the wamkey.dat file, you can use the notepad.exe editor. However, make sure the name of the file containing the key code is wamkey.dat and is not renamed as wamkey.dat.txt.
	if you install a new executable, always re-run the USB or LPT key installation software.
